Continuing the trend of Michael Bay's remakes comes news that he has secured the rights to a remake from Paramount.  The film will be co-produced by Adam Fields ("Donnie Darko"), who brought the project to Platinum Dunes.

The classic b-moive, "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" is making its way back to the screen.

Hollywood North Report reports that The Exorcism of Emily Rose director Scott Derrickson will helm 20th Century Fox's remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still.

More remake news, and I'm not thrilled about this one. Scouts have been reported around Little Canada area high schools looking for locations for a Teen Wolf remake.

That's right, Teen Wolf.

It seems that after talking about for quite some time now, about two and a half years, filming for Prom Night is finally underway.
