Friday the 13th Part VIII - Jason Takes Manhattan asin: B000069I0C

In part 8 Jason goes to (surprise!) Manhattan. That's the plot. By
different reasons, our hero ends up on a ship that's going to New York.
On the ships is also a bunch of teenagers that do drugs, have sex and
listening to that terrible Rock N Roll music. Jason gets pissed of their
bad behaviour of course.

I guess its hard to come up with fresh ideas at old´ Camp Blood, and
that must be why they, the writers, sends Jason of to the big apple. But
I must say that part 8 is a weak movie. It has some real fun situations,
like Jason's rude style in the subway. Or leaning the head when he sees
the commercial for a hockey match!! HA! But the concept with Jason on
strange locations does not hold the whole movie. You easily se what a
bad script the built the movie on.

Hodder is good as Jason, but the other actors are awful. Even the old DALLAS
dude.

Check out Turkey 1: Heavy-Metal-Bimbo-Girl goes down to the engine
room to play on her guitar. It such a normal teenage behaviour. Not.

Check out Turkey 2: Boxing match on the roof. It is so
stupid to start boxing with a psycho killer maniac. He (the Boxer) could
so easily pushed him over the edge. But no. He keep boxing and boxing
until his hands hurt. Oh you stupid boxer boy

The title is the best thing about the movie.
