Teen Wolf with Superman?

More remake news, and I'm not thrilled about this one. Scouts have been reported around Little Canada area high schools looking for locations for a Teen Wolf remake.

That's right, Teen Wolf.

It gets better. It's going to star a girl as the Wolf, and Superboy himself - Tom Welling - as, I don't know, her boyfriend, the head jock, the councilor from the cool camp across the lake. Seriously, STOP THIS INSANITY. We don't need a remake of this movie. Nexted their going to remake Zapped.

Elm Street might find new occupants

Rumors are dubious at best, but IESB got "word" from a "source" at a "production house" that a "movie" might get "made."

That last one was too much, I apologize.

The studio is trying to get a new "Freddy" film up for a late 2007 start. It probably won't be the much-rumored "prequel" film, but either a new "Freddy Vs..." movie or another 'solo' adventure for Freddy - with one treatment in particular, floating around, getting quite a lot of buzz; its simply about the new young couple (hence, young CW-esque stars get to headline) who buy into their first home together... yep, you guessed it... THAT house.

The other option is a new "Freddy Vs. Michael" movie. There's a lot of red-tape to get through there. John Carpenter is trying to help sort it out. This film seems to be the most popular option on the table at the moment, so if they can get it up, they will. My money is on this one, too.

I don't buy it. Well, I do buy horror movies staring CW stars in 2008, but Freddy is iffy in my mind. And in no way can I see "Freddy vs. Michael happening with the new Halloween on the way.
