Uwe Boll to quit making films (kinda)

Further re-enforcing my belief that good wins over evil, Uwe Boll announced in an interview with FEARnet that if the online petition for him to stop making movies would only sway him if it reached one millions signatories.

FEARnet: Are you aware that there is a petition online, signed by 18,000 people, requesting that you stop making movies?

What do you think of the Nightmare of Elm Street remake?

Awesome. It needs an update.

It's perfect the way it is. No remake needed.

I'd be fine with it if Michael Bay wasn't involved.

Cloverfield 2 (or the worst idea in the world)

Bloody hell. The movie has been out for less than a day and they are already pissing me off.

Bloody-disgusting (credit - no links to them from me) caught up with Matt Reeves on the red carpet, and he had this dumb-ass thing to say:

Cloverfield

Caught a screening this afternoon, and am putting together my thoughts.

Check back to get my full review.

Hellboy 2 Trailer attached to Cloverfield

Hellboy 2's trailer has seen the light of day, and the movie looks really good.  Del Torro is pulling more of the visual style of Pan's Laberynth so the villians have seem to be extra creepy in this one.

Liz and Abe seem more involved this time, and Perlman's Hellboy, not encumbered with the mythology of the first movie, seems more action based.

News returning for a limited engagement this week

There has been a dearth of content recently with our hiatus for Season 3 of the Podcast and I have to apologize for that.  We'll be returning to regularly updated news this week, and we have some things on deck that will make it easier for us (and you) to keep updated on the latest happenings.
